Hello all readers,
I would like to first apologize for not sending the newsletter last week; due to lot of travel and Diwali (Festival of Lights) celebrated in India, got busy.
In this edition would like to introduce about JAMStack Hosting. We are seeing raise in the JAMStack hosting solution. Last weekend learning we created NextJS website; how about sharing it to outside world with free available hosting.
Upcoming Conference
There are few amazing conference in upcoming week
DevRelCon from Nov 8-10 2021
Async API Conference from Nov 16-18 2021
Prisma Serverless conference from on Nov 18th 2021
Call for Proposal
Not able to find any CFP closing in upcoming week. You can reach me out in twitter and share if you want to write in this newsletter.
Youtube Videos of the week
As mentioned in the last edition about NextJS Conf, last week on wednesday the whole Tech twitter was talking about NextJS conf. It will be really bad if I don't add their playlist as Videos to watch for this weekend.
Their whole conference playlist is available in Youtube. Its must watch playlist. I repeat this is the best Keynote I have seen. Spend at least 30 mins on Keynote alone, its worth.
Weekend Project to Try
Hope last week some of you might have tried creating your website using NextJS. Just in case if you have not created, you can try doing this week also. This weekend project to try is bit extension of last weekend project. You might have finished your personal branding website and might have been trying to find out where you can host. Don't worry I will suggest few hosting providers who help us to host JAMStack based websites easily.
So to take things little harder this week there will be two tasks.
Task 1: Hosting the website
Try to host your personal website in the sites like Netlify or Vercel or Cloudflare Pages
Task 2: Check preview builds
In this task, you have to create a new branch and push some features. Again with the help of hosting providers figure out the way to create preview builds.
You can comment the hosted website in my tweet, which can be shared in upcoming newsletter.
